We don’t believe in answering machines

Telephone answering machines may bring the worst out in some people.

You may urgently want to communicate with a business colleague or place an order for some bit of kit that you can't do without for much longer, but all you get when you call is an impersonal voice informing you that they're unavailable, and will get back to you if you leave your name and number. How frustrating is that? Life and work can't go on without the information or kit that you need, and all you get is some stranger telling you the obvious: they are away from their desk. It makes many people fume! Listening to the standard message play doesn’t help anyone with current projects or issues which need solving.

Answering machines were invented in the 1930s, and back then they were pricey and not a great success. However in the 1960s, an American firm made them commercially available, and soon they became something that no self-respecting business or home could do without.

Zoom Answer Call recognises that answering machines are not the best thing to be greeted with on a stressful and busy morning. We have developed a service which can address the problems associated with calls that cannot be answered personally. Instead of giving your customers a cold and impersonal response, our staff can take your calls for you when you are unavailable. We can take orders, offer information, and generally help your customers get back on track with the projects which cannot wait for you to return to the office - and we do it with a friendly approach to take the stress out of the situation. We also answer your calls in your firm’s name, so the customer never knows that they are dealing with a third party.

Infinitely superior to an answering machine, we offer our services on a free seven day trial.
